1. About this policy

This policy explains how Spacode uses cookies and similar technologies in the InviteTous web app and on our marketing site, https://invitetous.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in general.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which lets a website keep information on your device, and scripts that check how a browser behaves. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these.

Strictly necessary cookies are needed to provide a service you have asked for, such as staying signed in. Other cookies, such as those used for analytics or advertising, are optional, and in the European Union, including Spain, they may only be used with your consent.

3. Summary

We use only strictly necessary cookies and storage. We currently use no analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies.

4. Cookies and storage in the app

  • Sign-in cookie (refreshToken). Strictly necessary; set by Spacode. A secure, httpOnly cookie that holds a refresh token so you stay signed in. “httpOnly” means scripts running on the page cannot read it. It lasts up to 30 days, is renewed while you keep using InviteTous, and is removed when you sign out.
  • Local storage. Strictly necessary; set by Spacode. Stores your language preference, drafts you are working on and interface settings, so the app works as you expect. It stays in your browser until it is cleared.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile. Strictly necessary; provided by Cloudflare. When you sign in, Turnstile may set a cookie or use similar technology to tell humans from bots, which protects accounts from automated attacks.

5. Our marketing site

  • Local storage. Strictly necessary; set by Spacode. Remembers the language you choose on https://invitetous.com.
  • Google Fonts. Our site loads its fonts from Google’s servers. This is not a cookie, but to deliver the fonts Google receives your IP address. We use Google Fonts only to display text.

6. What we do not use

We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or social media tracking cookies or pixels, either in the app or on our marketing site.

7. Consent and optional cookies

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because InviteTous cannot work without them.

If we add any optional cookies in the future, such as analytics cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them wherever the law requires it, including in the European Union and Spain, and we will update this policy first. Our in-app cookie notice lets you accept or reject any optional cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.

8. How to control cookies

You can view, block and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Privacy and security. Most browsers also let you clear the data stored by a single website.

If you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, InviteTous will not work properly: you will not be able to sign in or stay signed in. Clearing local storage resets your language preference and removes any drafts stored in your browser.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if we change the cookies or similar technologies we use. We will publish the new version on this page and update the “last updated” date.
