Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
1. Why this policy exists
InviteTous lets you send invitations and messages to real people. To protect guests, and to keep messaging working for every host, everyone who uses InviteTous must follow this policy.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all users, including co-hosts.
2. Message only guests who expect to hear from you
- Send invitations, reminders and other messages only to people you are actually inviting or who are involved in your event, and who would expect to hear from you about it.
- Use InviteTous only for messages about your event. Do not use it for advertising, promotions, marketing campaigns or bulk unsolicited messages.
- Corporate events are welcome, but an invitation must not be used as a way to send advertising to people who did not expect to hear from you.
- Make clear who the host is, so guests know who is inviting them.
- If a guest asks you to stop messaging them, stop. Leave them out of future sends and do not contact them again through InviteTous.
- Do not add guests from bought, rented or scraped contact lists.
3. Follow messaging rules and the law
You must follow the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and every law that applies to the messages you send. Depending on where you and your guests are, these may include:
- in the United States, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the CAN-SPAM Act
- in the European Union and Spain, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy rules and Spain’s Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Law (LSSI)
- in Mexico, the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP)
- in Israel, the anti-spam rules of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 5742-1982
You are responsible for knowing and following the rules that apply to you and your guests.
4. Content you must not create or send
Do not use InviteTous, including its AI features, to create, upload or send content that:
- is illegal or promotes illegal activity
- is hateful, or attacks or discriminates against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or another protected characteristic
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone
- includes any sexual content involving minors
- promotes or glorifies violence, or threatens it
- is deceptive or fraudulent, such as scams, phishing or fake events
- infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights
- impersonates a person or organization, or falsely suggests that you are connected with them
5. Respect your guests’ privacy
- Upload only personal data you have a lawful basis to use, such as the contact details of the people you are inviting. When you import a file or your phone contacts, include only the people you plan to invite.
- Collect only what the event needs. Dietary notes and similar details are fine, but keep them short, and do not add sensitive information, such as health, religion or sexual orientation, beyond what the event needs.
- Do not share guest data from InviteTous with anyone who does not need it for the event.
- When your event is over, delete the guest data you no longer need.
For your guests’ data, you are the controller and we are your processor, as set out in the Data Processing Addendum.
6. Protect the service
Do not do any of the following, or help anyone else do them:
- scrape or harvest data from InviteTous, or access it by automated means other than the features we provide
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer our software, except where the law expressly allows it
- run load tests, security probes or vulnerability scans without our written permission
- bypass or interfere with usage limits, watermarks or payments
- create multiple accounts to collect free tous
- resell, rent or sublicense access to InviteTous or to your account
- upload viruses or other harmful code, or disrupt the service or the networks it relies on
- use someone else’s account without their permission
If you find a security issue, report it to ben@spacode.co.il and do not test it further without our written permission.
7. Reporting abuse
If you see content or behavior on InviteTous that breaks this policy, or you received a message sent through InviteTous that you did not expect or want, tell us at ben@spacode.co.il. Include as much detail as you can, such as the date, the name of the event and a copy or screenshot of the message.
We review every report. To protect other people’s privacy, we may not be able to tell you the outcome.
8. What happens if this policy is broken
If we believe this policy has been broken, we may take the action that fits the situation, including:
- removing or disabling content
- stopping or blocking messages
- suspending or restricting features or your account
- closing your account
- reporting illegal activity to the authorities and cooperating with their lawful requests
Where practical, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We may act without notice when there is a risk of harm to guests or others, when the law requires it, or when the service is at risk, for example if WhatsApp could restrict our messaging.
If your account is closed for a breach, unused tous may be forfeited, except where the law requires a refund, as explained in our Terms of Service. If you think we made a mistake, contact us at ben@spacode.co.il and we will review our decision.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when messaging rules or laws change. We will tell you about significant changes by email or in the app.
